Each of our projects is built around a single idea — that no child should suffer for want of medicine, education, or a stable home. Here is a look at the ongoing programmes run by Vikas Jyoti.
Medical Aid for Children
We fund treatment, tests, medicines, and surgery for children whose guardians cannot afford hospital costs, and support attendants with food, shelter, and blankets during long hospital stays.
Treatment Support for Parents
When a parent or the main earning member of a family falls ill, we help fund their treatment to prevent children from losing the economic and emotional support they depend on.
Education Centres
We run learning centres for poor children, street children, and school dropouts, providing free stationery and a safe space to learn. Bright, needy children are also matched with sponsors.
Blood & Organ Donation Camps
We organise regular blood and organ donation camps and maintain a donor database so that patients in emergency need can be connected quickly with willing donors.
Clothing & Essentials Drive
Through ongoing clothes and essentials distribution drives, we provide warm clothing, blankets, and daily necessities to families in need, especially through winter months.
Festival Celebrations
We celebrate every major festival with sick children in hospitals — bringing gifts, sweets, and a sense of joy and normalcy into difficult days.
